Paris Hilton on Letterman 9/25/08

Triumph at David Blaine upside-down!

Download the video HERE. Basically, Triumph dismisses Blaine’s stunt as stupid.

Consumer ignorance almost cost me $60.

I’m one to usually do my research when buying electronics, but I figured a simple router would only warrant five or so minutes. And so that’s what I did. Five minutes of research, and then I went out to RadioShack to buy one. I told the employee what the router had to do wirelessly, and he recommended the Linksys Wireless-N router ($100). It barely had the range to reach my laptop. Then I tried the $40 router that Netgear made. It also reached my laptop just barely, and had the same speed as the Linksys. They both performed exactly the same.

New iPod commercial = new song!!!

Everytime Apple decides to air a new commercial for an iPod, there’s always some quirky song that plays, and so far they’ve been all songs that I’ve never heard. In the newest iPod Nano 4th generation commercial, the song Bruises by Chairlift plays. Download it here. On another note, Apple really knows how to milk their products. They have a 75% share in the portable music industry, an advertising campaign that is highly memorable, and the image of hipness and coolness with its design. I have a 2nd generation Nano, and except for the video features, it’s the same iPod Nano two generations later.

Triumph & Ralph Nader = LOLZ

WTF? Ralph Nader just gets pissed on by Triumph. Not one of the funnier segments that the dog has gad, but still worth it as always. Download the video HERE.

Martha Stewart on Conan 9/16/08

Download: Part 1. Part 2. There’s something really likeable about her. On one hand she’s a superpower businesswoman worth over half a billion dollars, but yet she can bake you cookies, show you how to make a birdhouse, and tell you 5 different cleaning products to clean your kitchen counter. So practical.

Shia Labeouf on Leno 9/16/08

Download the videos. Part 1. Part 2. This guy loves Diana Sawyer?! She’s like triple his age. He also tries way to hard to be funny on talk shows. Take it easy!

John McCain ad campaign = LIES!

Shit. I think the Republicans are really feeling the end now. Have you seen this video that shows how his ads are filled with half-truths and distortions? DOWNLOAD IT HERE. Now I’m no political junkie, but between the original ad and the counter-argument given by the creator of this video, at least the creator has evidence rather than just blank statements. Nothing is really going right, and the McCain campaign is getting heavily criticized for so many things.

Curtis Jackson (50 Cent) on Conan 9/10/08

Download the video HERE. Curtis Jackson aka 50 Cent stops by to promote his new movie Righteous Kill. Some funny parts, like when Conan states that in the movie when he gets shot, he actually knows what that feels like in real life. HAHAH. He’s actually a pretty funny guy. He just might have a career in film or comedy whenever he gets tired of rap.

Triumph vs. Protesters 9/10/08

Download the video HERE. Triumph goes outside the RNC and meets with the protesters. Not as funny as the usual Triumph segments, but still much better than the average talk show material. I LOL’d at the woman holding sign with like 12-point font and lots and lots of text, thinking that anyone could possibly read that. And damn, the URL link was so long! She needs to learn about presentation skills and getting the message across quickly.

LeBron James on Letterman 9/10/08

Download the video HERE. About a 5-minute interview. Obama took up nearly the entire show. He just talks about the Olympics and such, really nothing worth listening to. I wish interviewers would ask them questions not related to their sport more often. It’s just way too obvious and uninteresting. I know! Letterman should’ve put LeBron and Obama on a mini-court and made them play ball! And LeBron shouldn’t hold back either. A tomahawk jam and facial to Obama!

Barack Obama on Letterman 9/10/08

Download the videos here: Part1, Part2, Part3, Part4. High quality. I know this guy is great at working a large crowd, but within a more intimate setting, he’s not as electrifying. But still, more charismatic than McCain any day. I knew Letterman would allocate more time for him, but damn 4 sections! Poor LeBron James barely got any interview time. I hear Obama is great at basketball. Maybe him and LeBron played some one-on-one backstage.

Steve Jobs is the best corporate presenter.

Check out his latest presentation at Apple.com. Steve Jobs gave an Apple Special Event presentation this September. Some of the new stuff he presented included iTunes upgrades, iPod Classic, iPod Nano (brand new), and the iPod Touch. This guy just knows how to sell crap. I mean the words he uses and the way he delivers them just makes you want to drop hundreds of dollars every 6 months for something you already have. This guy is my corporate hero!

Keira Knightley on Conan 9/9/08

Download the video HERE. WTF, this woman is a bobble-head. Look at the width of her shoulders versus the width of her head! Also, what a hideous outfit, especially the pants. And she looks like a Holocaust survivor. Just a sickly looking human being with crooked canine teeth. But she does seem to pull off a specific kind of character in her films. And her face is unique enough that it doesn’t look like any other face in Hollywood.
