Storage Options: a Canon lesson in design

I just noticed this about my portable Canon printer. Not only is it gorgeously designed and matches my MacBook Pro, but it stores away very nicely in three possible orientations. The vertical position on the lower-right is completely stable. Why is this important? Well sometimes you don’t really have a lot of area on a plane to set something, however you do have plenty of space directly above, so the option of being able to slide the printer on a bookshelf alongside the other books is pretty neat. So props to Canon for not only shrinking the size of the printer, but making nice surfaces for easy storage.
